The following pictures are mainly of the SUNSEEKER XS2000 raceboat which achieved the first sub-40hours NON-STOP CIRCUMNAVIGATION  of the British Isles. 

The driver was Peter Dredge and Navigator/throttleman Ian Sanderson.

Needless to say, they were using the BackChat Intercom for their vital communications at all times. 

In the words of Peter Dredge, "they performed faultlessly the whole trip.....even when the cockpit was literally full of water after encountering 12 metre waves in the North of Scotland !.......we could not have done the trip without the continued and very effective communication between us.  With twin turbocharged 750 h.p. engines the noise levels are quite incredible.  We could hear each other extremely well".
